RENTAL PROCEDURES:
Thank you for your interest in applying for one of our apartments. Before you apply for an apartment, we would like you to make note of the following important information.
Credit Check Fee:
There is a $20 non-refundable credit check fee per application (separate application required from each applicant age 18 or older). This credit check fee is payable by cash, money order, cashier’s check, or Venmo (@LPIccfee). If you are paying by money order or cashier’s check, please make it payable to Litke Properties, Inc.
If you would like to try to speed up the application process, please attach your two most recent paycheck stubs or your federal tax income statement for the last 2 years (if you are self-employed) with your application.
Security Deposits:
Our standard security deposit in San Francisco is equivalent to one month’s rent. These funds must be paid in full by money order or cashier’s check at lease signing. The security deposit is not to be used as last month’s rent.
Credit Report & Background Check Standards:
Please be advised that we will obtain a credit report for each named adult applicant. Applicants must authorize us to contact your present employer, bank, personal reference and your present and previous landlords. If there is anything negative on your credit history or if your employer and previous landlords would not recommend you as a resident then you should provide a detailed explanation with your completed application.

What is the lease term?
Our minimum lease term is one year. Tenant is responsible for all rent payments through the lease term, even if you move out before the lease term expires.

How much is security deposit?
Our standard security deposit in San Francisco is one and one–half times the monthly rent. These funds must be paid in full by money order or cashier’s check at lease signing. The security deposit is not to be used as last month’s rent.

When is my rent payment due?
Rent is due by the 1st of the month and is considered late if received after the 5th of the month.

How can I pay my rent?
You can mail or drop off your rent check to our office. We only take personal checks, cashier’s check, or money order in the lease holders’ names only.

How do I report a repair that needs to be done in my unit?
Except in an emergency, all requests for repairs should be made in writing. You can request repairs via our website or send us an email at repairs@litkeproperties.com. In case of an emergency after hours and/or on the weekends, please call our tenant emergency service at (800) 399-1430.
